1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION

A unique non-flammable precision cleaner for electrical- and electronic equipment. Chlorinated hydrocarbons (1,1,1-trichloroethane), chlorofluorocarbons (CFC's) and hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFC's) are extremely effective solvents, and replacing them is not a matter of simply "plugging-in" another solvent. Application trade-offs may need to be made and it is important that factors as :

  • evaporation rate

  • residue

  • flammability

  • flashpoint

  • compatibility to plastics be seriously considered.

3. FEATURES

4. APPLICATIONS

  • CRC N. F. PRECISION CLEANER is suitable for cleaning and degreasing all types of electrical and electronic components where a shutdown is either impossible or very expensive

  • Relays; switches; circuit breakers; alarm and signal systems; printed circuit boards; connectors; generators, contacts; laboratory- and test equipment; terminals; plugs and jacks; electromechanical assemblies; motor controls; sensors.

5. DIRECTIONS

  • Spray liberally on surface to be cleaned and allow to run off. Use extension tube for precision application.

  • To remove oxide and carbon deposits, use an abrasive and rinse off intermittently with CRC N. F. PRECISION CLEANER. Re-lubricate with CRC 2-26 if necessary.

  • It is not necessary to switch off electronic/electrical equipment during cleaning. However, it is recommended, while risk of electrical shock can occur when spraycan itself makes accidental electrical contact.
